The Women Want Adventure Community Cookbook 

As part of our aim to empower, inspire and connect women through outdoor adventure, we are creating our first of many – Women’s Adventure Community Projects.

With the help of the women in our community who all have knowledge and tips to share, we’re creating a Women’s Outdoor Cookbook that can be used by all women setting out on an adventure. 

We want to make it an easy to use resource with inspiration and information. This book will be a go-to-guide for all types of adventures from day hikes, multi-day hikes to sneaking that yummy snack on a chairlift at the snow.  

The book will have a number of different categories you can contribute under.

- Hiking Tips

- Packing and preparation Tips

- Lightweight Food Tips 

- Cookware Tips

- Dehydrating Food Tips

- Lunch

- Dinner

- Snacks 

- Dessert 

How it will work:

Email womenwantadventure@outlook.com the section you would like to contribute for (you can choose more than one). Each recipe will need to be submitted with all of the following.

Note: We will not be able to publish your contribution if it does not meet the below criteria: 

- Name of dish (Make it fun!)

- Ingredients

- Method

- Helpful Tips

- Photo of recipe (if you have one)

- Your full name, your photo and your location so we can let everyone know this is what you contributed and where you are from.

The book will be provided for FREE to Members only in an easy PDF download. We will also work hard to prepare a special hard copy version you can keep in your kitchen for last minute adventure emergencies. 

We need a lot of support and suggestions to get this going so please don’t be shy with emailing in your recipes. 

How long will it take:

Please be patient with us while we collate or design the book. We aim to have the Cookbook out by early 2018.
