Women's ACT Group Sea Kayaking Adventure: Jervis Bay 8th April

Travel & Outdoor

Details

Get a taste of adventure by sea kayak as a means to get you to some of the best south coast locations of Jervis Bay.

This one day, sea kayaking trip is one of our most popular trips for Women Want Adventure. There is always something stunning to see from the water and every trip provides a different perspective of the bay.

You don t need to have any previous kayaking experience and we welcome beginners.

DETAILS:

We will begin the day with a safety briefing on the beach and some handy technique advice before heading off on our first relaxed kayaking session of approximately 1.25 hours taking in the coastline and the expanses of the Jervis Bay waterway.

Your Women Want Adventure Leader Tracy Gibson will select the best option for a beach break and there will be plenty of time to chill out if you prefer just having a cup of tea or coffee on the beach or going for a little walk. Morning tea will be served up with plunger coffee, freshly baked cake and fresh cut fruit. We cater for gluten and lactose free so make sure you tell us in your booking form.

Once we are recharged we will get back in the kayaks and explore the Booderee National Park, learning about some of Jervis Bay's historic significance. In June it is very likely to see whales and we will be taking the best option on the day for spotting the amazing animals.

After another explore via kayak it's time for Lunch. A delicious selection of locally made wraps plus additional snacks and fruit. Time again for another kayak to take it all in before heading back to the landing site.

This is a superb adventure to attend individually or with a friend. Many of the ladies on Women Want Adventure trips turn up on their own and by the end of a trip have made really good friends with the ladies in the group.
