If you re looking for a bushwalk that offers you stunning views with a hike that leaves you feeling fantastic then look no further than The Cliff Top Track!

Women Want Adventure are heading back to the Blue Mountains to hike from Govett s Leap Lookout to Pulpit Rock. This track is one of our favourites as it offers spectacular valley views, a variety of scenery including waterfalls, sandstone cliffs and cool waterholes. It s a well maintained track with plenty of options for morning tea stops to chat away with new like minded friends, get fit and learn a few hiking tips for your next adventure.

DETAILS:

Duration: 3.5 hours

Location: Blue Mountains, NSW. Roughly 2.5 hour drive from Sydney.

Starting time: Meeting 9.30am, leaving 9.45am

Meeting Location: Govetts Leap Car Park (please arrive 15 minutes early)

HIKING INFORMATION:

This classic Cliff Top Track starts at Govetts Leaps car park and then continues north-east along the escarpment, offering continuous views of the Grose Valley. The track is graded easy/moderate and will take 3hr 30 minutes return. The distance is 8km return. We will be stopping for morning tea at Pulpit Rock.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Walking shoes/boots. Sandshoes are fine but if you have hiking boots wear them
• Wet weather gear. You must pack a waterproof jacket.
• Hat
• Water bottle (2L capacity)
• Day pack
• Sunscreen

What if it's raining?

Women Want Adventure trips go ahead in all types of weather, except electrical storms. It's an ADVENTURE! Please be prepared with a wet weather jacket and dry clothes to change at the end of the trip.

How old do I need to be to attend?

Women Want Adventure trips are for women over the age of 18 years. Our average age is 45 years. We always have a mix between 23 years to 70 years! We welcome all abilities and always support you.

Cancelation Policy:

Cancellation of a booking by You must be made in writing. It is up to you to cancel your booking. We will not regard a booking as cancelled unless and until written notice is received by us. On cancellation the following charges will apply:

Day Trips

14+ days prior to departure of a trip, a 20% administration fee based on the price of the trip will be deducted from your refund.

14 days or less prior to scheduled departure 100% of the trip costs will be payable or forfeited (where already paid). If a waitlist client takes up the place, a 20% administration fee based on the price of the trip will be deducted from your refund.
