Get back to nature in the Blue Mountains on a trail beyond tourist locations. Picture yourself having a cuppa tea overlooking a scenic mountain view, ducking under waterfalls and discovering the path to a hidden canyon.
In a nutshell, this hike is all about embracing incredible landscapes, walking with like-minded women in one of the most spectacular trails in the Blue Mountains.
This hike was designed with YOU in mind. Our adventures are for mature women (well we think we are!), who prefer a slightly slower pace, cups of tea on a rock in the shade and home baked goodies for lunch.
You will be met by your guide just outside Blackheath at 9.30am and acquainted with your fellow women walkers.
To being, the trail passes under overhanging huge caves, running waterfalls and creeks, before ascending to spectacular valley views. Your guide is always attentive in regard to your health, women moment s, your wellness and how strong your coffee is. With a leisurely pace, we ll continue along the cliff top trail before descending into our special morning tea location.
After a break, its onto exploring rainforests and the the base of sandstone cliffs. Here, we ll find a cave to stop for lunch.
With bellies full, we continue our hike following the waterfall until going deeper into the canyon we ll let you discover the rest!
The canyon! I can t get over the canyon. I loved every part of this hike but ending at the canyon took my breath away. Thank you to Hannah for being such a patience and caring guide. Loved chatting to the other women and learning about the Banksia s along the way, awesome day! .

A basic to good level of fitness is required. We take regular breaks, stop for plenty of photos and support each other. Bring your walking poles for extra support down steps. There are rails on some sections where there are stairs. The incline and declines are short, but steep for 50m only. The track can be unsteady in sections but we walk slow. We have seen 10 year olds to 75 year olds on this trail. You can do it!
We re thrilled you re thinking about coming. Of course, if you have questions please email womenwantadventure@outlook.com or check out the FAQ s about trips.
See you in the Blue Mountains.
