Take a break that’s truly for you.
Our Blue Mountains Yoga Escape combines yoga, hiking, nourishing food, and time in nature—everything you need to reset and feel grounded again. Think clifftop views, waterfalls, and canyons, with the space to slow down and simply be.
This weekend is for women who want more than just a getaway—those craving movement, connection, and a touch of indulgence, all wrapped up in one uplifting adventure.

Settle into the Kanimbla Valley, where the Blue Mountains roll out before you and nature quietly invites you to slow down.
This eco-friendly escape gives you the best of both worlds: movement and stillness. Hike to wide-open views, reset your body with yoga, enjoy nourishing meals, and share fireside chats that turn strangers into friends.
Most women join solo (and love that they did). You’ll share two cosy bush cottages—each with fireplaces, kitchens, and bushland views—so it’s easy to feel comfortable and at home.
Across the weekend, you’ll enjoy three guided hikes, three yoga classes, and plenty of time to recharge—whether that’s a clifftop glass of wine at sunset or a quiet moment by the fire.
It’s a weekend for women who do everything for everyone else—and finally want something for themselves.
No planning. No stress. Just space for you.

Welcome to Kanimbla View Retreat, your home for the weekend. Arrive between 1:30–2:00 pm, settle into your cosy room, and take a moment to breathe in the crisp mountain air.
At 2:30 pm, we’ll gather in the main lodge for a warm welcome and afternoon tea — the perfect chance to meet your guides and the other women joining you for the weekend.
We’ll then head out for a gentle 40-minute cliff-top walk, where you’ll take in sweeping valley views and, if the weather’s kind, a golden Blue Mountains sunset.
Return to the retreat for a 4:15 pm vinyasa yoga session, designed to stretch travel muscles and help you unwind into the rhythm of the weekend.
The evening ends with a nourishing group dinner and relaxed conversation by the indoor fireplace — a simple, beautiful start to a weekend of movement, connection, and calm.

Wake to the soft sounds of the bush and enjoy a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the day ahead.
Today we’ll hike the Grand Canyon Walk — a 6.3 km loop (Grade 3) that winds through ancient sandstone walls, fern-filled gullies, and cool rainforest tunnels. It’s one of the most breathtaking walks in the Blue Mountains, and we take it at an easy, social pace with time to pause, breathe, and take it all in.
After the hike, return to the retreat for a well-deserved lunch around 1.45pm and time to relax — perhaps a quiet cuppa on the deck or a nap by the fire.
As the afternoon light softens, we’ll gather for a 4:15 pm Yin yoga class, designed to gently stretch tired muscles and restore balance after the day’s adventure.
The evening unfolds with a wholesome dinner and a glass of wine, shared with great company. No dishes, no planning — just good food, conversation, and that deep, contented feeling that comes from a day well spent outdoors.

Ease into the morning with a 6:45 am vinyasa flow yoga class, the perfect way to awaken your body and reflect on the weekend so far. Follow it with a nourishing breakfast before we set out for our final hike.
Today’s walk takes us along the Porters Pass & Centennial Glen Trail — a 5–6 km loop that showcases some of the most breathtaking views in the Blue Mountains. Expect wide valley outlooks, peaceful forest trails, and the thrill of crossing Walls Ledge, before descending into a hidden canyon with a cascading waterfall.
We’ll take our time, pausing for morning tea and photo stops to soak up the views. The track includes steps and a few uneven sections, but it’s well within reach for beginners with a moderate level of fitness.
After around 2–3 hours on the trail, we return to our cars to say our goodbyes. Our weekend wraps up at 1:00 pm, leaving you refreshed, recharged, and ready to carry that mountain calm back home.
This weekend is Easy to Moderate.
The weekend offers a mix of gentle walks and one longer hike, making it ideal for women who enjoy being active but prefer a relaxed pace.
On Day Two, we take on the Grand Canyon Walk — a breathtaking loop that leads down into a lush sandstone canyon before climbing back up via well-formed steps. We move at an easy, social pace, with plenty of stops to rest, chat, and soak up the scenery.
Day One begins with a short, easy walk (about 40 minutes) to stretch your legs and settle into the weekend.
Day Two is our main hiking day (around 3.5–4 hours, including breaks).
Day Three wraps up with a final 2–3 hour walk, leaving you feeling refreshed and accomplished.
You don’t need prior hiking experience—just a basic to good level of fitness and a willingness to move. Our guides are there every step of the way to support you.
The yoga sessions are beginner-friendly and designed to complement the hiking—gentle flow and restorative Yin classes to help your body unwind and your mind settle. Whether you’re new to yoga or practise regularly, you’ll feel right at home.
Absolutely. In fact, most women do. Many join solo, looking to reconnect with nature, meet like-minded women, and enjoy a weekend that’s easy, social, and completely taken care of. You’ll quickly feel part of the group — it’s one of the things our guests love most about these trips.
Our trips are open to women aged 18 and over, and we welcome all age groups. Most of our guests are between 35 and 65, but we’ve had women both younger and older join — and love it. What matters most is your enthusiasm to get outdoors, connect, and be part of the experience.
Single rooms may be available, depending on bookings at the time. If you’d like one, please email us before paying your deposit to confirm availability. The single supplement is $420 + GST and will be invoiced separately once your deposit is received. Single rooms can only be held after confirmation with our team, as availability is limited and not guaranteed.
For hiking, wear comfortable, supportive shoes — sturdy hiking boots are ideal, though joggers are fine for the easier walks. Dress in light, breathable layers so you can adjust to changing weather in the mountains.
Around the retreat, comfort is key. Bring relaxed clothing you can move in, and something warm for the evenings — many women love slipping into UGG boots or cosy socks by the fire.
And of course, don’t forget your yoga clothes so you can fully enjoy each session.
Absolutely! To ensure that you and your friend are accommodated together, please make sure to include your friend's name on your booking form. This will allow us to make the necessary arrangements and ensure a pleasant and seamless experience for both of you.
Yes — we do our best to accommodate a variety of dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Please let us know your requirements when booking so we can plan accordingly.
While we take care to minimise cross-contamination, we can’t guarantee the complete absence of gluten or nuts, and we’re unfortunately unable to cater for FODMAP diets (no onion/garlic). It’s important to advise us of any medical allergies before your trip.
Meals are prepared by your guide and catering team (not a professional chef — though we’re pretty handy in the kitchen!) and we’ll always do our best to ensure you’re well looked after. If you have specific concerns, please get in touch before booking.
It’s not essential, but many women like to bring a small blanket or shawl for extra comfort during yoga and relaxation. In the cooler months, a hot water bottle can also be a cosy addition for the evenings.
If you have these at home, feel free to pack them — they’re small touches that can make your weekend even more comfortable and restorative.
Blue Mountains Testimonial
This was my 18th trip with Monique and Women Want Adventure. I love all of them! Thank you Sophie for the incredible meals (maybe my favourite thing). Lots of laughs at night and dancing. I always feel like I am away with a group of friends on a WWA trip. Now I just need to decide what to do next!
I had an unforgettable weekend away!
I went by myself and left with found friendships. The ladies all wonderful, the food scrumptious, the yoga classes OMG fabulous, the accommodation just so perfect, the walks and scenery - amazing. Best of all the fire places, a glass of wine, a magnificent dinner and wonderful conversation. I actually teared up when it was time to say goodbye. xxx
My first trip and wow!!!
The Blue Mountains hiking and yoga experience did not disappoint. The cabins were tastefully decorated, eco friendly and fully sustainable. The wood fires, wholesome food cooked by superhero Monique and spectacular scenery were a match made in heaven. Monique is a special person who served us all weekend and generous with her time and energy ensuring we all had a great time. I really do recommend any trip with Women Want Adventure and guarantee you will return home refreshed, cared for and will have achieved at least one bucket list item!
I would highly recommend this trip!
From the moment I joined the Women Want Adventure trip, I knew I was in expert hands. Absolutely everything was looked after with care and attention, from seamless logistics to thoughtful touches that made each day feel special.
The food and hospitality were nothing short of incredible—each meal was delicious and nourishing, and every interaction was warm, genuine, and inviting. It truly felt like being welcomed into a family of fellow adventurers.
Our hiking guide’s knowledge and understanding of the Blue Mountains elevated the entire experience. Their passion for the landscape shone through in every story and fact shared, and their skill at reading the group’s needs meant we always felt both safe and inspired. There was a perfect balance of encouragement and freedom, with just the right sense of adventure woven through each day's journey.
