Hi, Traveller My Account

Women's Blue Mountains Overnight Hike 28th- 29th October

Travel & Outdoor

Blue Gum Forest is situated in the Grose Valley in Blue Mountains National Park. To get to one of the most pristine and beautiful campsites right down into the valley we will be hiking from Perrys Lookdown.

This adventure is challenging. The steps and stairs involved give your legs a brilliant workout and it's for those women up for a decent walk. Although the track is only 4km, due to the steep gradient, it takes time to walk the distance and be safe doing so.

This hike is for women wanting to experience a hard overnight hike and feel like they are camping in the middle of the wilderness. There is a maximum of 8 places available for this special overnight hiking adventure.

After we hike down Perrys Lookdown the track enters into the spectacular Blue Gum Forrest where there are tall gums making a beautiful area for camping. We will be pitching our tents at Acacia Flat Campground by the stream where we can relax, jump in the little pools and have a great time with a group of like minded women.

On this trip your Leader will help you prepare for an overnight hike with a packing list and guide of how to prepare your pack. You will learn camp set up skills, outdoor cooking skills and tips for the trail.

This overnight hike will leave you feeling empowered, equipment and confident to set out on your own outdoor adventures.
