Women Want Adventure are heading to the ACT to hike through stunning gum forests, climb rock boulders at Square Rock and connect with adventurous women!

Location: Namadgi National Park

Distance: 10.2km

Duration: 4.5 hours

Meeting Time: 8.30am - Leaving the carpark at 8.45am

Style: Return hike

Grade: Easy- moderate (some uphill sections and steps) Suitable for beginners

ABOUT:

We are meeting at Sqaure Rock car park at 8.30am, which is just off Corin Road. The car park is located roughly 400m past the Corin Forrest Mountain Retreat with clear signage. Look out for a large gravel car park on your left.

The hike is a gentle incline along a distinct trial, which passes through beautiful eucalypt forests and ends at large prominent granite boulders known as Square Rock. There is a metal ladder at the end of the hike leading to the top where we will stop and eat a delicious morning tea/coffee while overlooking the Brindabella Ranges.

At certain times of the year, the track can be sprinkled with snowfall. Please remember to bring warm clothing, a beanie and some gloves to keep your fingers warm!

This is a great hike to meet like minded adventure women in the ACT area. We are looking forward to meeting everyone and hosting further trips around the ACT.

• Walking shoes. Hiking boots are prefered but not nessessary

What if it's raining?

Women Want Adventure trips go ahead in all types of weather, except electrical storms. Please be prepared with a wet weather jacket and dry clothes to change at the end of the trip.

How old do I need to be to attend?

Women Want Adventure trips are for women over the age of 18 years.

Cancelation Policy:

Cancellation of a booking by You must be made in writing. It is up to you to cancel your booking. We will not regard a booking as cancelled unless and until written notice is received by us. On cancellation the following charges will apply:

Day Trips

14+ days prior to departure of a trip, a 20% administration fee based on the price of the trip will be deducted from your refund.

14 days or less prior to scheduled departure 100% of the trip costs will be payable or forfeited (where already paid). If a waitlist client takes up the place, a 20% administration fee based on the price of the trip will be deducted from your refund.
