Women's 'Easy' Sydney Harbour Kayak Saturday 31st October

Come and join us for a wonderful women's guided kayaking trip on Sydney Harbour.

You will be delighted by the scenery while getting up close and personal with these icons on our guided tour of the harbour.

Our welcoming and professional local female guide will show you how to safely manoeuvre your kayak, and then you will set out on your two hour kayaking adventure. There will be plenty of opportunities to get wet and wild while we take you past the famous Royal Botanic Gardens and Mrs Macquarie s Chair.

With plenty of breaks, this trip is all about spending a weekend doing something outdoors and not too difficult!

• Date: Saturday October 31st
• Meeting time: 8.00am for a 8.15am departure
• Meeting location: Royal Botanic Gardens. TBA exact loction sent via email.
• Finish time: Between 10.30-11am
• Grade: Easy and fun!
• Price: $150pp includes booking fee and GST

Meeting Point:

Royal Botanic Gardens. You will receive the exact meeting location prior to departure. The launch location is near the Andrew (boy) Charlton Pool. There is parking at the location and bathrooms.

What to bring:

• A wind jacket
• Hat
• Sunglasses with strap is handy
• Shoes that can get wet
• Drink bottle. We will supply additional water if needed
• Towel
• Swimmers
• Waterproof camera or iphone in a dry bag
• Personal medication

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes. You must be over the age of 18 years to attend this trip.

What do I need to wear in the kayak?

Warm tights are a good idea and an exercise top.

Do I need to be fit for this trip?

A minimal level of fitness is required. If you can walk around the block at home, you are more than capable of attending. Don't let your thought of "I'm not good enough" hold you back! We support and encourage all women. You can do it!

What if it's raining?

Women Want Adventure trips still go ahead in all types of weather unless electrical storms.

What's the cancellation policy?

We hope you do not need to cancel your trip, however ifcancellation takes place more than 60 days prior to your departure date, you will be refunded any amounts paid, less a 20% admin fee. If cancellation takes place between 60 and 30 days prior to your departure date, 50% of the tour price will be forfeited. If cancellation takes place less than 30 days prior to your departure date, 100% of the tour price will be forfeited. Transfers from one person to another will not be permitted.

In the unlikely event of adverse weather conditions, Women Want Adventure reserves the right to change, alter or cancel this trip in the interests of client safety. Women Want Adventure will happily refund monies paid in the event that Extreme Wind or Dangerous Conditions be present at or before the commencement of the Women's Kayaking Adventure. Women Want Adventure will notify you by text at between 6am - 6.30am on the morning of the activity in the event of cancellation. Please ensure mobile phones are on and accessible at this time to ensure messages are received.
