Travel & Outdoor

Details

Get ready to kick your personal goals into high gear and take the plunge into the breathtaking Empress Canyon in the stunning Blue Mountains

Looking for an unforgettable adventure with a group of supportive women? Join us on our Women's Empress Canyon Trip, where you'll experience the rush of abseiling down a 30m waterfall, rock jumping, and exploring majestic rainforest scenery.

To start the day, you'll meet our fabulous canyon guides, who will help you learn the ropes (literally) with a dry abseil from the Mount York plateau. The abseil pitches range from 5m to 30m, so there's something for everyone.

Afterwards, we'll take a break for lunch before putting on our provided wetsuits, harnesses, backpacks, and helmets to explore the Empress Canyon. This canyon boasts sculptured rock formations, deep pools perfect for jumping into (optional, but we dare you!), and the breathtaking 30m waterfall abseil that you won't want to miss. The longest swim required to complete the canyon is approximately 10m.

Before reaching the waterfall, you'll have the opportunity to clamber over boulders, spot bright orange crayfish, and take in the beauty of the rainforest scenery. This moderate-level trip requires a good level of health and fitness, and you should be comfortable on your feet for a minimum of 6.5 hours and have high mobility.
