ABOUT:

Springbrook National Park is located on the McPherson Range near Springbrook and forms part of the World Heritage-listed Gondwana Rainforests in Australia.

We are meeting at the Tallanbana Picnic Area at 8.30am to leave at 8.45am. From here, we hike to see beautiful panoramic views, cross streams in the rainforest and have a relaxing morning tea by the huge rock pool and twin falls waterfall.

With twin waterfalls rushing down the cliff into the fresh water rock pool, it's the perfect place to relax and have a laugh with new adventure friends.

After morning tea, we make our way back around the circuit. The rest of the hike has regular intervals with constantly changing and spectacular scenery from stunning rock formations, sheer cliffs, subtropical rainforests and breathtaking views on the way back to the picnic area.

Due to some descents and ascents at the start and end of the trail, it is suitable for women who walk regularly, although you don t need to be overly fit. As a group, we always support and encourage each other. No woman is ever left behind and we set the pace that works for everyone.

HOW TO GET THERE:

Springbrook National Park is around 100km south of Brisbane, and is accessible from the Pacific Motorway via either Nerang or Mudgereeba. The road up to Springbrook is steep and windy, with little petrol available, so fill up before you go.

For maps, you can Google Tallanbana Picnic Area or Canyon Lookout .
