Join your leader, Amy and meet the Woman Want Adventure community at this free women's meet up. We will meet at the bottom of Tomaree Headland and wander along the foreshore before entering the forest via 150m stretch of uphill single track. This then joins the main paved trail of the headland walk. We will visit the WW2 gun embankments before continuing our climb for a spectacular view! At the bottom of Tomaree Headland we will visit Zenith beach for a swim before returning to the carpark and wandering down to the shops for a coffee.

This walk is around 5.5km with flat sections of paved walkway, a short single-track section and one climb up and down the headland (involving stairs and platforms).

HOW TO GET TO THE MEETING LOCATION:

Please meet at the base of Tomaree Headland, there is lots of free carparking around, but it is spaced out along the foreshore. You will see our group of ladies gather in the car park area. Call Amy if you get lost!

FAQ'S

Are there bathrooms at the meeting location? Yes. There are public bathrooms on the main road before we reach Tomaree Headland.

Can I turn up individually? Of course we are here to make friends. Many women attend indivually!

How old do I need to be to attend? 18+

Do I need to be really fit to attend this hike? No, although it is a short climb to the top of Tomaree Headland but worth it!
