We’ll even summit the impressive Mt Rosea for excellent views of Lake Bellfield and Lake Wartook. Mt Rosea is the most northern peak in the Serra Range and some of the highest cliffs on the trail.

At night, enjoy an ‘in-hike- camp location under a sea of stars, a highlight of the experience. Eat delicious camp meals and wake to the smell of real coffee.

Itinerary

Meet your guide at 8.30am in front of the Halls Gap Visitor Information Centre for a briefing, gear organising and pre departure checks.

The trail shuttle bus will pick up the group at 9.15am from Halls Gap and take the group a short distance south to Borough Huts to the start of the trail. Today’s hike takes us on the trail from Borough huts through the beautiful towering trees as the trail ascends steadily towards the summit of Mt Rosea.

The trail starts to steepen as we climb up to the summit of Mt Rosea where you are rewarded with 360 degree views of the Grampians, Lake Bellfield and Lake Wartook. A great place to stop for lunch.

From the Summit of Mt Rosea the trail weaves through the rock formations on the ridge-line of Mt Rosea before descending to the Stony Creek Hike-In Campsite, our campsite for the night. Tonight we enjoy dinner cooked by your guide. A wonderful way to relax and connect with the women in the group. We may even play a few games!

On day two, enjoy a hearty breakfast before we set out to walk the next section of the Grampians Peak trail. After leaving behind Stony Creek Campsite we head towards the Pinnacle for more amazing views and sandstone escarpments.

From the Pinnacle we descend through Silent Street and the Grand Canyon before following Stony Creek to the natural rock pools of Venus Baths. We’ll have time to explore and take in the magnificent views before we leave Venus Baths for the short hike back into the town of Halls Gap where the trip concludes.
