Our Larger Trips

Summary

Reconnect with nature, glide across turquoise bays, and share the experience with like-minded women — all in the beauty of Jervis Bay.

Set against the backdrop of New South Wales’ iconic coastline, Jervis Bay is home to crystal-clear waters, abundant marine life, and some of the whitest sand in the world. It’s the perfect place to begin your women’s sea kayaking adventure.

Whether you come solo (like most of our adventurers) or with a friend, this day trip is designed for all levels — especially beginners. You’ll paddle calm waters, pause for morning tea on the beach, swim if you’d like, and savour a relaxed lunch by the bay.

Women's Jervis Bay Kayaking

Our experienced guide will provide everything you need: paddle gear, a dry bag, a windproof jacket, and a full safety briefing before you set off. From there, it’s a day of exploring, connecting, and enjoying the simple joy of being out on the water together.

As you paddle Jervis Bay’s pristine waters, you may spot vibrant marine life, pass the beaches of Bowen Island, and, if you’re lucky, paddle alongside dolphins. With winds and tides guiding our route, every trip feels unique.

We move at a relaxed pace, with time for swims, beach walks, and plenty of laughs along the way. More than kayaking, it’s about connecting with women who share your love of the outdoors and creating memories in an unforgettable setting.

Many women join this trip as a lead-up to our bigger kayaking adventures, like Hinchinbrook Island or even Antarctica.

Itinerary

Our adventure begins in Huskisson, where we’ll meet for a warm welcome, connecting with fellow women and our experienced guide before setting off for an unforgettable day.

From there, we head to our launch site along the pristine shores of Jervis Bay. After a simple briefing on kayaking techniques and paddle skills tailored for all levels, you’ll feel ready for a smooth and enjoyable experience.

In our stable double sea kayaks, we’ll set out on a 1.5-hour paddle along the coastline. As you glide through crystal-clear waters, you’ll take in the beauty of Jervis Bay’s marine life. We’ll stop at a shaded spot for morning tea, where you can enjoy a hot drink, light refreshments, and fresh fruit while soaking in the views—or even take a swim if you feel like it.

We then continue our kayaking to the Booderee National Park, rich in natural beauty and historical significance. Keep your eyes peeled for whales and playful dolphins that often grace these waters. Our guide, well-versed in the bay's ecology and history, will share fascinating insights, enhancing your connection to this environment.

Lunch awaits at another scenic spot, where we'll indulge in a delightful spread of locally crafted salad wraps, complemented by a variety of snacks and more fruit. It's the perfect setting for sharing stories and laughter with new friends.

After lunch, we'll enjoy another gentle kayaking session, giving you time to immerse yourself in the natural wonders of Jervis Bay. As our day nears its end, we paddle back to our landing site, carrying with us memories of a day filled with adventure, camaraderie, and the serene beauty of the sea.

A really great tour company!

You can’t go wrong with WWA. Jervis Bay Kayaking has been my 3rd trip with them. Absolutely loved Dane and he looked after us so well! Loved today and now off to Ningaloo!

Saw whales! Loved it.

We spent the weekend in Jervis Bay and this was our highlight! We even saw two humpbacks near Bowen Island! Thank you to our guide Dane who was fabulous. The wind picked up on our way back which made it a little harder. Overall great trip.

Loved the dolphins!

I feel like we got so lucky on this trip. Dolphins, turtle and a whale. A whale! The entire day was amazing. Thank you to our fabulous and funny guide Dane. His professionalism and personality made it really enjoyable. Also thank you to my new buddy Sarah for putting up with my random paddle strokes while I took photos of the dolphins and whale. Loved today so much. I'll be back!

Jervis Bay Testimonial - Carron NSW

Thank you for a great day on the water. Four of my girlfriends decided to go for a weekend away in Jervis Bay and add in an adventure activity. Adventure it was! Dane was brilliant and we had so many laughs (many at his expense), sorry Dane. Loved exploring Bowen island and the swim at Murray's. Thank you so much, this made our weekend. We were did have tired arms to drink wine afterward. Work it!
