Kayak and enjoy the natural beauty of Kangaroo Valley on our Women s Kayaking Adventure.

A short 2-hour drive from Sydney, we are meeting at the Safaris Kayaking Shop to park our cars at 9.30am to leave at 10am for an easy 2.5 hour paddle (5km) from Hampden Brdige through Morton National Park to Bendeela Picnic Area.

No previous kayaking experience necessary. An instructional and safety briefing will be provided by your Leader.

We have teamed up with Kangaroo Valley Safaris to help you develop paddling skills and techniques. An experienced kayaker escorts the group.

• All kayaking and safety equipment, includeding PDF's

• Morning Tea- Including gluten free options, fresh fruit, coffee and tea
• Shuttle return from Beneela Picnic Area back to the meeting location at the Safaris Kayaking Shop
• First Aid

WHAT TO BRING:

• Hat
• Sunscreen
• Sunglasses
• Wet weather jacket. We still kayak in the rain!
• Shoes that can get wet. Sandles or old trainers.
• Water bottle (1L capacity with water in it)
• Swimwear
• Wear a light weight long sleeve shirt to protect yourself from the sun
• Towel
• Gym gloves (optional)
• Change of clothes for the end of the trip
• Waterproof camera (optional)

Please Note: Trips depart immediately at the designated Meeting Time at Safaris Kayaking Shop, Kangaroo Valley. Please note it is your responsibility to ensure you are on time and ready for departure. Please arrive 15 mintues prior to departure.

Meeting Point: 2031 Moss Vale Rd Kangaroo Valley 2577. There is plenty of parking.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes. You must be over the age of 18 years to attend this trip.

What's the cancellation policy?

We hope you do not need to cancel your trip, however if cancellation takes place more than 60 days prior to your departure date, you will be refunded any amounts paid, less a 20% admin fee. If cancellation takes place between 60 and 30 days prior to your departure date, 50% of the tour price will be forfeited. If cancellation takes place less than 30 days prior to your departure date, 100% of the tour price will be forfeited. Transfers from one person to another will not be permitted.

In the unlikely event of adverse weather conditions, Women Want Adventure reserves the right to change, alter or cancel this trip in the interests of client safety. Women Want Adventure will happily refund monies paid in the event that Extreme Wind or Dangerous Conditions be present at or before the commencement of the Women's Kayaking Adventure. Women Want Adventure will notify you by text at between 6am - 6.30am on the morning of the activity in the event of cancellation. Please ensure mobile phones are on and accessible at this time to ensure messages are received.
