Sydney provides some spectacular sea and river kayaking adventures. No matter what kayak you have.

For this summer women s trip, we have sit on kayaks to enjoy the waters of the Port Hacking. From beginners who want to try out kayaking, this is the perfect day on the water. The river is wide with stunning bushland views and millionaire mansions!

Our meeting point in Bundeeda is just a short 30 minute drive from the Sutherland, a 20 minute enjoyable ferry ride from Cronulla or one hour from central Sydney. After meeting in Bundeena we catch the shuttle bus to Audley to start our paddle back to Bundeena.

Once the kayaks are loaded and your leader takes you through a skills briefing, you can hit the water, paddling around the bends of the river and taking in the peaceful views. There are landings to pull up as we paddle and your leader will choose a nice place for morning tea. A good time to go for a swim!

• Grade: Moderate (there are easy sections and some short sections around bends with wind. We paddle slow and take our time on the water)
• Cost: $120pp

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes. You must be over the age of 18 years to attend this trip.

What do I need to wear in the kayak?

Light shorts and an exercise top with swimmers under is best.

Do I need to be fit for this trip?

A minimal level of fitness is required. If you can walk around the block at home, you are more than capable of attending. Don't let your thought of "I'm not good enough" hold you back! We support and encourage all women. You can do it!

What if it's raining?

Women Want Adventure trips still go ahead in all types of weather unless electrical storms. Tracy will provide you with a wet weather jacket and we encourage you to bring your own. Some of our best trips have been in the rain!

Cancellation Policy:

We hope you do not need to cancel your trip, however if cancellation takes place the following will apply:

• More than 30 days before the trip there is no charge
• 29-15 days before the scheduled trip there is a 20% administration fee
• 14 days or less before the scheduled trip the full fee will be charged (100% of the participant cost).

Please be aware that if a participant cancels their trip once it commences or they do not show they also forfeit their full trip cost. Late arrival of a participant or participants on the day may also forfeit the full trip cost. Women Want Adventure may reduce, transfer or waive the loss of fee for any reason at their sole discretion.

In the event of adverse weather conditions, Women Want Adventure reserves the right to change, alter or cancel this trip in the interests of client safety. Women Want Adventure will notify all participants as soon as possible on the day.

Cancelation due to weather:

Participants will hear from us if we need to cancel the day due to the weather. Participants must assume the day is going ahead if they do not hear from Women Want Adventures otherwise. If participants cancel their trip on the basis of weather (and we have not cancelled it ourselves) no refund will be given. If weather conditions cause us to cancel the trip we will offer alternative dates however if this option is not possible for participants refer to the Women Want Adventure Credit and Refund Policy.
