What comes to mind when you think of Monday? Hiking with Women Want Adventure of course!

One of the best ways to experience the beauty of the Blue Mountains is to hike in the less busy periods. We re spending our Monday hiking the stunning National Pass Loop Track, which is a mix of cliffside tracks, waterfalls and beautiful rainforests.

DETAILS:

Grade: Moderate. Steps and steep sections involved. For women who walk regularly.

Distance: 5km loop

Time: 4.5 hours return hike

Meeting Location: Wentworth Falls Picnic Area

Meeting Time: 9.30am to leave 9.45am

HIKING INFORMATION:

Starting at Wentworth Falls Picnic Area, at 9.30am, we will pass amazing lookouts and waterfalls plunging down into the Jamison Valley before we reach the historic Grand Stairway. From here we take the plunge deep into the Valley of the Waters where there are stunning eucalypts and moss-covered rocks. The track then leads us to Empress lookout with exceptional views.

We will be heading in a clockwise direction, which is a bonus as we are walking DOWN the cliffs. A little challenging on the knees, however the bonus is when we make our way up and out of the Valley of the Waters at the other end there is the Conservation Hut where we can go to the bathroom and grab a coffee if we feel like it! We do stop plenty of times on the hike to take photos and drink water and will be having our special morning tea in the Valley.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Walking shoes/boots. Sandshoes are fine but if you have hiking boots wear them
• Wet weather gear. You must pack a waterproof jacket.
• Hat
• Water bottle (2L capacity)
• Day pack
• Sunscreen

• Warm jumper
• Personal Medication

Car Pooling: Once we have all the bookings we look at the locations of the women. We will call you and link you with women in your area to drive share if you like.

What if it's raining?

Women Want Adventure trips go ahead in all types of weather, except electrical storms. It's an ADVENTURE! Please be prepared with a wet weather jacket and dry clothes to change at the end of the trip.

How old do I need to be to attend?

Women Want Adventure trips are for women over the age of 18 years. Our average age is 45 years. We always have a mix between 23 years to 70 years! We welcome all abilities and always support you.

Cancelation Policy:

Cancellation of a booking by You must be made in writing. It is up to you to cancel your booking. We will not regard a booking as cancelled unless and until written notice is received by us. On cancellation the following charges will apply:

Day Trips

14+ days prior to departure of a trip, a 20% administration fee based on the price of the trip will be deducted from your refund.

14 days or less prior to scheduled departure 100% of the trip costs will be payable or forfeited (where already paid). If a waitlist client takes up the place, a 20% administration fee based on the price of the trip will be deducted from your refund.
