DAY ONE:

Our adventure will start 7:30am, meeting at the iconic Bonnie Doon Pub. From here we will take a short drive to Hutchinson boat ramp where we will park our vehicles and prepare our gear. After a short safety/paddle brief and delicious morning tea, we will launch our vessels for our Great Lake Eildon Adventure.

Women can expect to paddle a total of 12 km on the first day and 12 km on the second day. We have a selection of gorgeous lunch spots available on the way with plans to stop around 12:30pm on both days.

Our camp for the night will be Italian Bay Island. We estimate we should paddle into camp around 3pm- 3:30pm. This location is a shady noll headland offering almost 360 views of the lake, perfect trees for hoisting a hammocks, complete with an established fire pit and the best part is this location is only accessible by water.

Women should expect a short hike up to this stellar spot (100m) but we promise the view is worth every step!

Once women have set up tents and bedding, afternoon tea will be served with delicious array of cheese, crackers and local smoked salmon (we love our food).

Women are encouraged to explore our little island, take a swim in the clean fresh water or let the day slip away with a book.

Dinner will be served around 7pm, your guide Lauren is passionate about delicious food and her specialty dishes include beef bourguignon, Hungarian beef casserole or Southern style pulled pork (we cater for dietary requirements and vegetarians). She is also a keen musician and will happily play a tune with a little prompting.

DAY TWO:

After a restful sleep, Guests will wake at 7:30am to the smell of fresh coffee, loose leaf tea, oats and fruit.

We will aim to be on the water by 9:30am for a relaxing meander paddle back to Bonnie Doon. We will stop for lunch at 12:30pm and should arrive back at Hunchinson Boat ramp between 3-3.30pm.

Women can expect to take home canoe paddle skills, on water navigation skills, history of the lake, a bunch of new friends, an unforgettable experience and a new found confidence to embark on their own adventures.
