Women's Sea Kayaking Adventure: Jervis Bay

Travel & Outdoor

Details

Get a taste of adventure by sea kayak as a means to get you to some of the best whale watching and bush walking areas of Jervis Bay. Yes, whale watching!

We have created a winter kayaking event in the whale season to provide the opportunity to get close with the amazing animals in prime season.

DETAILS:

We will begin the day with a safety briefing on the beach and some handy technique advice before heading off on our first relaxed kayaking session of approximately 1.25.hours taking in the coastline and the expanses of the Jervis Bay waterway.

Your Leader Tracy will select the best option for a beach break and there will be plenty of time to chill out if you prefer just having a cup of tea or coffee on the beach or going for a little walk. Morning tea will be served up with plunger coffee, freshly baked cake and fresh cut fruit.

Once we are recharged we will get back in the kayaks and explore the Booderee National Park, learning about some of Jervis Bay's historic significance. In June it is very likely to see whales and we will be taking the best option on the day for spotting the amazing animals.

After another explore via kayak it's time for Lunch. A delicious selection of locally made wraps plus additional snacks and fruit. Time again for another kayak to take it all in before heading back to the landing site.
