Women-Only Blue Mountains Grand Canyon Hike: Tuesday, 16th April 2024

Travel & Outdoor

Details

Beautiful hiking and canyon scenery, waterfalls & surprises at every turn!

The Grand Canyon walk in the Blue Mountains is one of Australia s most beautiful hikes that takes you through lush rainforests, towering sandstone walls, and small waterfalls. The well-maintained paths are lined with abundant native plants, and the iconic green ferns seem to get more and more lush as you descend. The highlight of the hike is passing through the stunning Grand Canyon, with its cascading waterfalls, fern-lined grottos, and breathtaking scenery.

While the hike is only 6.3 km long, it has a total elevation change of over 400m, with steep descents and undulating terrain. The creek crossings can get wet after rain, but the adventure is well worth the effort. As you climb back out of the canyon, the scenery changes yet again, offering stunning vistas of the valley below.
