Women Want Adventure x Paddy Pallin: Gear Up & Go Free Meet Up Night

Australian Conservation Foundation Ready to gear up for your next big adventure? Women Want Adventure and Paddy Pallin have teamed up to host an exciting in-store meet-up event and shopping night.

Join us for a night of adventure gear shopping, nibbles, and mingling with other like-minded women. Not only will you get 20% off store-wide on top-quality adventure gear, but you'll also have the opportunity to learn from the experts. Paddy Pallin's knowledgeable staff and our team will be on hand to guide you through the process of selecting the right equipment for your needs and ensuring that it fits you perfectly.

PLUS, special guest Dr. Kate Grarock from ALONE Season One Australia will be there on the night, speaking about her experience and sharing her tips for survival in the outdoors, as well as participating in a special Q&A session.

During the evening, you'll also learn valuable skills such as how to properly fit hiking boots and packs, how to store and care for your gear, and what essentials you should always have on hand. Plus, we'll be offering 20% off selected in-store items.

• Activities: Adventure gear shopping, mingling with other like-minded women, and learning valuable skills from Paddy Pallin's knowledgeable staff and Women Want Adventure Team.
• Special Guest: Dr. Kate Gfrom 'ALONE Season One Australia' will speak about her experience and share tips for outdoor survival, followed by a Q&A session at 7.30pm.

A bout Dr Kate Grarock

Dr Kate Grarock is an Ecologist, Hiker, YouTube Creator, Speaker, Mum and Alone Australia Participant. She loves inspiring people to be passionate about the environment, and protect it.

After a PhD she s now Dr Kate; a wildlife biologist and expedition leader, working in remote parts of Australia to discover new species of plants and animals. She has spent a career learning about Australia s unique flora and fauna.

Kate has practiced bushcraft since she was a little girl, building shelters, finding water, making spears, weaving baskets and lighting fires. Frustrated that the local scouts would not accept her because she was a girl, Kate spent a lot of time immersed in nature on family camping trips.

Although this is a free Meet Up Social Night, Women Want Adventure strongly supports the environment and recognises the need for its protection, especially in our wild places. When you register, we encourage you to make a donation (optional) or come along on the night to make a cash donation at the door. 100% will go toward Australian Conservation Foundation. Additionally, we have 'Stand Up For Nature' tops for sale on our website, and 10% of the sales will go towards supporting ACF's conservation efforts.
