Women's Free VIC Hike Sunday 22nd May

Join us for a free Women Want Adventure community hike in the Dandenong Ranges.

Details

• Meeting time: 9.00am
• Meeting location: Grant's Picnic Ground (follow Monbulk Rd - then turn into the Grant's Picnic Ground car park which is well signed). CLICK HERE TO VIEW MAP.
• Finish time: Between 11-11.30am
• Trip grade: Easy to moderate. There are two hills
• Distance: 6.6km loop
• Exact meeting location: Grants Picnic Ground
• Style of adventure: WWA Community free walk
• Ages: Over 18 years only

This walk enables you to witness changing vegetation passing through cleared areas of bush created by successive wildfires of the early 1900s and vegetable growing during World War II, towering Mountain Ash and Messmate Stringybark trees, wide variety of ferns and other wet and damp forest vegetation.

We are meeting at the Grants Picnic Area (where the bird feeding is). There is plenty of parking and bathrooms at the location.
