FAQ

Absolutely! Many of our adventurers come solo. Our Women Want Adventure trips are a wonderful opportunity to meet and bond with like-minded women who share your enthusiasm for outdoor activities. It's a friendly and welcoming environment, perfect for making new friends!

Not at all! Whether you're a first-timer or an experienced paddler, this trip is for you. Our skilled guide will adapt the day to suit all abilities, teaching fundamental sea kayaking skills. It's an excellent opportunity for those new to kayaking or anyone looking to prepare for more extensive kayaking expeditions.

We warmly welcome women over the age of 18. Our trips are tailored for adults, with the average age of participants around 50, ranging from late 20s to mid-60s. Unfortunately, we can't accommodate those under 18, but we appreciate your interest and hope you'll join us in the future.

Comfort and practicality are key. We recommend wearing swimmers under shorts or tights, with a T-shirt or long-sleeve shirt for sun protection. Depending on the weather, we'll provide wind and waterproof jackets. A light, quick-drying long-sleeve top is ideal for paddling. You may also want to bring a swimsuit for changing at the beach. For footwear, water shoes (even affordable ones from stores like K-Mart or Big W) are perfect. Paddle gloves are highly recommended for comfort – here's a link to our suggestions. Don't forget a hat and sunglasses, as it can be quite glaring on the water.

We understand that plans can change. For details on cancellations or rescheduling, please refer to our terms and conditions.

Saw whales! Loved it.

We spent the weekend in Jervis Bay and this was our highlight! We even saw two humpbacks near Bowen Island! Thank you to our guide Dane who was fabulous. The wind picked up on our way back which made it a little harder. Overall great trip.

Loved the dolphins!

I feel like we got so lucky on this trip. Dolphins, turtle and a whale. A whale! The entire day was amazing. Thank you to our fabulous and funny guide Dane. His professionalism and personality made it really enjoyable. Also thank you to my new buddy Sarah for putting up with my random paddle strokes while I took photos of the dolphins and whale. Loved today so much. I'll be back!

Jervis Bay Testimonial - Carron NSW

Thank you for a great day on the water. Four of my girlfriends decided to go for a weekend away in Jervis Bay and add in an adventure activity. Adventure it was! Dane was brilliant and we had so many laughs (many at his expense), sorry Dane. Loved exploring Bowen island and the swim at Murray's. Thank you so much, this made our weekend. We were did have tired arms to drink wine afterward. Work it!
