Join us for a 4 day women’s adventure to reach the highest point in Australia and explore the Snowy Mountains Region with three different hikes.
The Snowy Mountains and surrounds are known for their snow-capped mountains, but that’s only part of the story.
The diverse landscape offers the perfect mixture of hiking trails during the warmer months.
During three selected walks, this trip explores the stunning snowy landscapes, including a summit to the highest peak in Australia - Mount Kosciuszko.
At night, kick up your feet and enjoy a little bit of luxury at the Lake Crackenback Resort with restaurant dinners and group BBQ’s.
* All prices are per person and listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). All prices shown are GST inclusive where applicable.
After a delicious breakfast prepared by your guides, we make our way Thredbo Village by car.
It’s an early start to get first lifts on the chairlift ride to the top of Thredbo ski fields. From here, we walk to the highest point in Australia- Mount Kosciuszko for spectacular views across the snowy mountains range. On our return, we take a trail down Dead Horse Gap. Enjoy the surrounding views, creeks and outlooks on this stunning walk.
Once we reach the bottom of Dead Horse Gap, we return via the flat trail which follows a beautiful shaded area all the way back to our starting point.
On return to Lake CrackenBack Resort, kick up your feet and enjoy a two course dinner in the evening at the onsite restaurant (included).
Today the group will wake up to a yummy breakfast prepared by our guides before driving 50 minutes from the resort over to the start of the Blue Lake Hike.
This trip is graded 3 (challenging) which is under the NSW National Parks grading system you can read here. The hikes are suitable for most fitness levels, however we strongly advise women are comfortable walking up steep hills and longer distances with some bushwalking experience recommended. Tracks may have short steep hill sections a rough surface and many steps. Please bring your hiking poles with you are additional support.
